Q: Why did Trees close down all of their branches?
A: At the end of July, the Community Service Unit (CSU) brought active enforcement against unlicensed cannabis dispensaries on the Island, including Trees, forcing us to suspend operations until further notice.
Q: Where are Trees in the licensing process?
A: We are currently working with the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) to obtain licensing and will be sharing more with our customers as soon as we have more details.
Q: Do we Trees expect to reopen as a cannabis retail store soon?
A: We will know more soon and will be notifying everyone via social media, our mailing list, and our website. If you’d like more details about how to join our mailing list or how to find us online, just ask any one of our amazing staff. They are available to answer your questions at the Yates retail space. Q: What are the future plans for the Yates Street space?
A: We are very excited to open Yates as our retail space and are planning to host community-focused events. Upon receiving approval and licensing for retail cannabis, we intend to re-open as a Cannabis retailer
Q: How does Trees plan on staying relevant in the current cannabis climate?
A: While we work towards licensing our dispensaries, we invite everyone to come and visit us at our Yates retail location and Trees Restaurant for brunch and lunch.
